TR Series Temperature Indicating Tape

e5cc

The TR series is a reversible temperature sticker from NIGK (Nippon Yusen Kiken, Japan). It features a long strip design that can be cut to any length to meet specific needs. When the sticker is applied to the surface of the object being measured, it changes color instantly when the temperature reaches the calibrated point; this change is reversible, and the sticker returns to its initial color when the temperature drops. This feature makes it suitable for continuously monitoring the current temperature changes of equipment such as machinery, ships, vehicles, heating appliances, or switchboards, providing a convenient on-site temperature warning and control solution.

Product Introduction

The TR series stickers feature a strip structure (20 × 200 mm long) and contain multiple temperature sensing areas, allowing for flexible cutting and application to desired locations. The stickers are made of reversible color-changing material; as the temperature rises from a low to a high level, the sticker changes from its original color to a darker color, and returns to its original color when the temperature drops. This makes them suitable for equipment requiring repeated temperature monitoring. The series is applicable to a temperature range of approximately 40 °C to 70 °C (models TR-40, TR-50, TR-60, TR-70), with an accuracy of approximately ±2 °C. Although not RoHS compliant, they offer excellent heat resistance and adhesion stability, making them suitable for temperature monitoring in electronic equipment, machinery, marine, or automotive components.
